The most incredible article about Lisbon you'll ever read.

I recently visited the most magnificent city of Portugal and you probably already guessed it, Lisbon! A lot of great monuments, covered in fascinating history and the charming feeling when walking up and down in narrow streets, makes it a perfect place to just settling down and ignore the fact that you are only going stay there for 5 days. You can probably imagine the vibe, right?
My name is Magnus, I am 18 years old and I have just been in Lisbon with my gymnasium class and I’m currently dreaming myself back, two weeks, where we went on this trip, I’m going to tell you guys about right now. Normally our class is a bit divided but Lisbon’s charm shook us together, both at night when we were out partying and when we were around the city on guided tours(which obviously is why went there).
One thing that really impressed me, and probably also some of my classmates, was the great history around the monuments, especially in the area of Bélem. At first we saw a 400 year old monastery, which is SO incredibly that it literally blows my thinking about who people could make this hundreds of years ago, only by hand and few tools, that is outdated a long time ago compared to what we have today. To see stuff like that, really gets your mind thinking. After that we continued to the Tower of Bélem. Where most of the seafarers from Portugal sailed past, on the way out into the big world, which again really get you thinking, how historically important such a little tower is, compared to the rest of the journey on these explorations. There is also a monument for all the explores who sailed of from Bélem close to the Tower of Bélem and The monastery. It was probably my favorite place to visit and I can only recommend going there.
Also if you are the hiking-person, Lisbon is just a must visit. Getting around town is like literally riding a rollercoaster sometimes. You go up and down all the time. It can get a bit hard for your legs and back, but that is just how Lisbon is! Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of a long walk, especially
if it is going uphill, the entire walk. But I didn’t complain once (Okay, maybe once or twice). Walking around in the beautiful city, made me forget all about my thumping legs and kept me going. So even if you are like me and hate long walks, I can tell you this; You are going to walk VERY much if you go to Lisbon, but it is worth it!
In my opinion this was one of the most successful trips I have ever been on and I am convinced my classmates thinks that too. So what are you waiting for? Go right now and see for yourself!

My friend Victor, who is just as excited for the trip as me!
